Before eating, it is advisable to keep the fruit immersed in normal water for about two hours. This will not only wash away all the dust and sediments on the skin of the fruit but also reduce the effect of Phytic Acid contained in the fruit and increase its flavor and taste. The water will also soften the skin. Adding a little Vinegar to the water is also useful. Do not bother about a few black spots on the skin of the mangoes; they are caused by the droppings from the liquid of the stem of the mango and the leaves. They do not affect the quality of the mango.
